What to expect
As a Volunteer Recruitment and Engagement Associate, you will be creating strong volunteer pipelines for the organisation’s current and future manpower and own the end to end talent selection process. You will also be identifying training needs and designing training and team building programmes to foster a culture of collaboration and trust. Don't worry, guidance will be provided for volunteers!
- Identify volunteer sources and build volunteer pipeline through various channels
- Set up talent selection procedures and guide leaders/hiring managers on competency-based selection
- Forecast talent and manpower needs in collaboration with the leadership team
- Execute learning strategies and programs such as volunteer onboarding and volunteer leadership training
- Design team building events such as year-end celebrations, quarterly meet ups and own the organisation’s internal communication (e.g. intranet, newsletters)
- No requirement for nationality of volunteers
What we look for
Expertise Level Required: Medium to High
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Talent Acquisition / L&D or keen interest in those areas
- Interest in technology and volunteer management
- Active collaborator, clear communicator and excellent stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of ATS or HRIS will be a plus
- Applicants from business school are preferred
