Project Description

The student team will be attached to the Transformation Office. The office champions Public Sector Transformation (PST) in MCCY, which is to drive organisational shifts needed to be future-ready and to achieve our mission of making our Singapore a Home.

The student team will pilot and execute a project in collaboration with one of the policy divisions in MCCY to study its existing team structures and work processes (scoped to focus on a selected function), with the objective of helping the division/officers to apply transformation elements to their work. This involves identifying roadblocks, ways to improve work processes, and proposing ideas to transform the ways they work so that the division can better achieve work goals.

Key Deliverables

  1. Submit a proposal pitch to the policy division

  2. Experiment within a defined scope ways to effect this change at the individual and/or team level

This is a project meaningful to the transformation work at MCCY as it pilots efforts to be future-ready amidst current disruptions due to COVID-19. Success achieved within this division would be ideally replicated to scale up transformation efforts in MCCY.
