What to expect

The SG Cares Office is set up to help build a culture of care and contribution in Singapore. The Office helps to coordinate and focus the efforts of individuals, groups, and organisations, so as to increase their collective impact. 


Brief Project Description


The student team will help contribute towards developing the Office’s keener understanding of the volunteer and philanthropy landscape, which will feed into recommendations on the strategies to grow giving among various target segments.  


The student team are expected to:

  1. Study the policies and programmes that support corporate giving and senior volunteerism in other countries, and determine their effectiveness.

  2. Compare Singapore’s policies and programmes to encourage corporate giving and senior volunteerism against those, and make recommendations on possible enhancements to support communities and corporates

  3. Help conceptualise and design communication materials (edm, infographics, etc.) and identify outreach channels to engage the target audience. 


Key Deliverables 


  1. Proposal with comparison analysis on polices and programmes that support for corporate giving and senior countries and proposed recommendations 

  2. Strategise and Conceptualise and Design Communication Materials and identify outreach channels to engage target audience.
